Erik's been training really hard this winter (as in only one day off running since Thanksgiving!) and his work paid off yesterday at the Last Chance Half Marathon in Columbus. His primary goal was to run the 13.1 miles in less than one hour and 18 minutes - he finished in 1:17:57 and won third place overall!
Daniel, one of the boys on Paint Valley's cross country team that Erik coaches, went along and ran 1:20:19. This was Daniel's longest race to date and he finished with an amazing time for a 16 year old - and won his age group!
Congratulations, guys! We're so proud of you both!
