World of Bounce

On Tuesday our Mommy and Me group took a trip to World of Bounce in Grove City for a fun day together. I think it's safe to say that Elliott LOVED every minute of being there...I'm just thankful he didn't discover how much fun the "big, big slide" was until we were about ready to leave. He wasn't able to climb the ladder by himself and I thought he'd be scared to slide down alone so I had to go with him. On our third trip he put his hand against me to push me away and said, "No! By Self!" and immediately turned around and took off! My little daredevil!
Jonas liked bouncing with Aunt Kimmy on one of the balls.
The kiddos were almost as excited about eating lunch at Chick-fil-A as they were about World of Bounce. We seriously need one in Chillicothe!
What a fun morning with a great group of friends. I think we need to plan some more outings in the near future!

A Little Confused?

Gig 'Em, Wildcats?
Who knew that Texas A&M joining the SEC would cause such confusion in our house!

7 Months

Jonas is 7 months old (and I'm only one day late getting this post up)!
This month has been fun since Jonas can now sit unsupported and play. In fact, that's his new favorite thing to do which makes things a little easier when I have things that need to be done - like baking and decorating cakes! Although it doesn't look like it, our boy does NOT like to eat. Or at least he doesn't like baby food. He's getting better, but he's definitely pickier than either of his brothers ever were. He's still waking up once or twice every night. I probably should be trying the "cry-it-out" method by now, but it's so much easier to just nurse him and put him back in bed so that I can sleep. I may be kicking myself for this in the future, but I need to sleep too! Just in the last week or so he's been starting to wave and we've been trying to get him to clap but he just laughs at our attempts. He's such a sweet boy and we're enjoying all of his smiles and laughs!

Cousins

We LOVED being able to spend some time with Mike, Jessica, Austin and Whitney before their big move to Alaska. That's right, in June they will be moving to Cordova, Alaska, for three years! It's so far away (and so expensive to travel) we aren't sure how much we'll be able to see them during that time so we are VERY thankful to have had Easter weekend together. We wanted to get some good pictures of the cousins together and this is how that went:

Take 1: Elliott has a silly face (he's saying he's done already), Jonas wasn't looking and Whitney was blinking.

Take 2: Cute picture, but I want to see Austin's face!

Take 3: Perfect! Oh, wait a minute, it's blurry. Oh well.

Jessica, I hope you did better than we did!

AHA!

Malachi didn't have school on Monday after Easter and I wanted to do something fun and special. We decided to go to Aha!, the children's museum in Lancaster. We invited GranMols, Aunt Kelsey and all the cousins.
The first exhibit you see when you enter is the firetruck - and Elliott was in heaven! I think he probably spent 90% of his time playing here. He kept saying, "I drivin' way, Mama!" and "mine firetruck, mine fire."

Malachi's favorite exhibit was the water table. He had been anticipating it all morning and couldn't wait to play...and get soaking wet!

Adeline and Elliott are so funny together. They sometimes play really well, sometimes they bicker and fight the whole time. It was fun to see them cooperating so well on the ball tunnels.

I think Walker liked it all!
Oliver and Ellie (the little girl Kelsey babysits) playing in the baby area:Adeline must be watching her daddy work - she liked playing in the animal hospital!

I was going to skip over the face painting area, but GranMols is a lot more fun!

Whoever decided to use face paint that looks exactly like markers must be crazy. Or not have kids! Elliott is now having some trouble understanding that he can't write on his face with the markers in the boys' art supplies. Oh well. I guess that's the reason I buy washable markers!

Kimmy, you may want to watch out - Adeline LOVED painting her face and kept saying how beautiful she was!

I'm not sure if we (the adults) were brave or crazy, but a great time was definitely had by all!

Easter Day

We had a wonderful Easter day with our family in Tennessee. After we got home from church we did the obligatory photo shoot before anyone changed out of their nice clothes. My pictures didn't turn out great - Jessica, I'm counting on copies of all these from you!!

Our boys couldn't wait to get their ties off (I forgot to take a picture of them in their cute outfits, we'll have a redo sometime soon!) and get into shorts and t-shirts. I think they take after their Daddy! We had a little time before lunch was ready so the kids got to have another egg hunt. Of course they wanted the same egg even though there were a lot of others around!

Thank you, Kevin and Becky, for hosting all of us. It was great to be together and make memories!

Coloring Eggs

Of course we had to color eggs this weekend, too! Malachi, Elliott and Whitney had lots of fun. Austin was reluctant at first, but I think he enjoyed himself. Even Uncle Scott colored one or two!

Gone Fishin'

Austin loves to fish - and he's pretty good at it, too! He's also great with Malachi and Elliott and took time to show them how to fish at the lake over the weekend. They had a blast and Malachi has even decided that he wants to spend his birthday money on a fishing pole of his own. Good thing they have a great place to go fishing in their own backyard!

Having Fun in TN

We really enjoyed our time just being together with family around the house last weekend and I wanted to share a few pictures of that, so here they are!
