We were lucky enough to slow down a little last weekend and enjoy some time with Yaya and 'Buelo. We began by visiting the Paint Creek dam to show them how high the water has been recently and then had a picnic and played on the playground.
Our plans for Sunday changed because of this little guy's arrival. Isn't he sweet?
On Monday we spent the morning at Haas Airport for the annual Fly-In. I have lots of pictures from our time there so I'll do another post with them tomorrow. Before Kevin and Becky started home, the guys ran in the Scott Porter Memorial 5k in Waverly. It was hot and they were a little crazy to punish themselves by running 3.1 miles, but they both did a great job.
Malachi stayed cool in the water while we waited on our runners.
Erik won 2nd place overall and earned a huge trophy and a gift certificate!
